Saguni is a film produced by S R Prabhu under the banner Dream Warriors Films. Karthi, Pranitha, Santhanam, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Roja, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Mumtaj and Nassar are starring in this film.
Director Shankar Dayal while speaking about this film said, " Saguni is not a political film. It is not a film that criticizes politics. The hero meets the people who are connected with politics. Prakash Raj, Raadhika, Kota Srinivasa Rao have donned the role of politicians.
We needed a political backdrop for this story and that is why we have brought politics into it. We have narrated everything in a comedy way. This is a commercial film with all the ingredients like comedy, fight and romance. This film was made keeping in mind Karthi’s mass audience. The songs of this film have already become popular. The film will hit the screens by end of this month."
Important information is that within 24 hours of the audio launch of Saguni, 75,000 people have downloaded the song Kanda Karavadai sung by Shankar Mahadevan. Music composer G V Prakash Kumar is now in high spirits because of this.
