Ramesh Krishnamurthy is producing a film titled Charulatha under the banner Global One Studios. Priyamani is donning dual roles in this film.
Malayalam actor Skandha, Seetha, Saranya Ponvannan and Aarthi are also starring in this film. Pon Kumaran who was earlier an assistant to directors K Bhagyaraj and K S Ravikumar is directing this film.
Sabarinathan is penning the dialogues. M V Panneerselvam is handling the camera Sundar C Babu is composing the music. This film is inspired by the Thai movie Alone. This film is about twin girls conjoined. The Telugu version of this film is being produced by Allu Aravind under the banner Geetha Arts. The Kannada version of this film is being produced Dwarakish.
