Director Lingusamy joined hands with Surya’s brother Karthi in the film Paiyaa. Now he has decided to direct a film which will have Surya in the lead role. Lingusamy after Paiyaa directed Vettai.
He had announced that he is going to remake Vettai in Hindi. Talks regarding this were going on. Now Lingusamy has decided to postpone this. He had narrated a story to Surya and Surya was highly impressed.
So Surya has given his nod to act in this film. Surya after completing Maatran and Singam 2 has given his dates to Lingusamy’s film. Lingusamy is busy polishing the script. It is understood that Lingusamy himself will produce this film under the banner Tirupathi Brothers.
Lingusamy is very happy because the film Vazhakku En 18/9 which he had produced was a great success at the box office and the film Kumki which he is now producing has created lots of expectations. Lingusamy’s script for Surya’s film will be on the lines of his earlier films like Run and Sandai Kozhi.
