The film Dirty Picture earned Vidya Balan the National Award. At that point of time, the film Kahaani in which Vidya Balan donned the female lead role was released.
In the film The Dirty Picture, Vidya Balan acted very glamorously but she donned a different kind of role in Kahaani. She donned the role of a pregnant woman. Her acting in this role took her to another stage in her career.
The Hindi film Kahaani turned out to be a super duper hit. This film is to be remade very soon in Tamil. Nemichand Jhabak who produced films like Anjathey, Mappillai and Naan Avan Illai is remaking this film in Tamil. Endemol India has also come forward to produce this film in association with Nemichand Jhabak.
Talks are being held with the leading actresses from Tamil and Telugu film industries with regard to this. Sneha, Nayanthara and Anushka are very much interested in donning Vidya Balan’s role. Within couple of days it will be known that who will be donning the pregnant woman role.
