Samar is a film which has Vishal, Trisha, Sunaina, Manoj Bajpai and J D Chakravarthy in the cast. This film is directed by Thiru. The director while speaking about this film said, " Some believe that what happens in our life are determined by God.
Some are of the impression that we are the one who determines. Above there is some matter. We have narrated in this film what is that matter and how it guides us. How the hero approaches and overcomes the problems because of this is the story of Samar.
This is an action oriented psycho thriller film. Vishal dons the role of a druggist while Trisha is domiciled in Thailand. Sunaina is from Ooty. I have earlier directed Vishal in the film Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai. There is no connection between this film and Samar because this has a different kind of action. Vishal and Trisha chemistry has worked out well in this film. "
