There’s money and fame in the movie business, and lots more perks. But at the end of the day it is a man’s world. So what's Taapsee's take on this...

“It’s certainly not easy! There are lots of angles to that. To start with, the shelf-life of an actress is just one-forth of an actor’s. And then too, here are certain unspoken parameters that you just have to abide by. For  instance, a guy continues to play the hero long after he has kids or even grandkids in reality," Taapsee said in an exclusive interview to Galatta Cinema.

She further added, "For some reason the actress loses all her charm and attractiveness the moment she gets involved with a guy in real life. You are the last option! That’s really sad. But that’s how it is. I want it to change and now that I am on the inside, I can try. It doesn’t look like it’s going to change soon, so I have to accept it.”
