Jyothirmayi to promote gender fest...

 Recently, the Kerala government selected her as the brand ambassador for an initiative aimed at empowering women.

Jyothirmayi was asked to promote `Thantedam Gender Fest,' a 10-day long event organised by the Department of Social Welfare in association with various women's organisations all over the State.

Elated at this, she says, 'Women empowerment is essential for the strengthening of family, society and the country. I will work hard for this cause. And I found Thantedam as the right platform to voice my opinion.'

Recently, the fest , kicked off at the Swapna Nagari in Kozhikode. Bihar Minister for Social Welfare Parveen Amanulla inaugurated the event. In her address, she said Nitish Kumar government in Bihar implemented various projects aimed at the empowerment of women and social welfare.
