Vijay has turned to producer after so long..

Vijay has turned a producer at last. The Ilaya Thalapathi of Tamil cinema has started a production house called Ghilli Films. The first film from his stable will be remake of yesteryear hit Sattam Oru Iruttarai.

It may be recalled that Sattam oru Iruttarai starring Vijayakanth in the lead role was directed in the early 1980s by Vijay's father S A Chandrasekaran. Now the new version will be helmed by Ramesh, a debutant.

The film, which is expected to hit the screens soon, will have Sivaji Ganesan's grandson and Prabhu's son Vikram Prabhu in the lead role. Karthika and Piaa will be the leading ladies while Meena will be picked for a crucial role.

Vikram Prabhu is currently acting in debut heroic venture, Kumki directed by Prabhu Solomon. He is also expected to playl the lead role in Sargunam's forthcoming film.
