Actors, actresses, directors and lyricists have expressed their anguish on social networking and microblogging sites.

Prasanna said, 'Couldn't watch the Lankan killing fields video more than two minutes! Horrible inhuman heartless cold blooded...! Deeply saddened for my Tamils.' According to Venkat Prabhu, 'Really disturbing visuals! Is God really watching this!!!'

Lyricist Madhan Karky said, 'Shocked and disturbed seeing the killing fields film. One of the most inhuman acts I've seen in life. The world should say NO to war. Every single person behind the killing fields war crimes should be brought to justice.'

Simbu wrote on his microblogging page: 'In a state of shock after witnessing the huge cry and genocide of kids at killing fields in Srilanka, wish it ends soon. My voice is for Tamils.'

'A cruel world again. May the innocent rest in paradise,' said Jayam Ravi. Kushboo said, 'The videos of Tamil killing field sends a chill down your spine... You go numb for few moments and then anger seeps in... seething anger.'
