Pooja Out...Dhanshika In..

Actress Pooja has been removed from the film Paradesi directed by Bala. She has been replaced by Dhanshika who had earlier acted in Aravaan. It was announced earlier that Pooja would be heroine for the film Paradesi. It was also mentioned that Pooja after a long hiatus would be making her re-entry through this film. Now at this juncture, she had been removed this film.

Pooja while speaking about this film said, "I have been signed for another film. I am going to Australia to participate in the shooting of that film. I was not able to act in Bala’s film due to call sheet problems."

Pooja received Filmfare Award for acting in the film Naan Kadavul directed by Bala. After that she donned a small role in the film titled Droghi in the year 2010. Pooja had decided to act in the roles which would fetch her good name and that was the reason she was not seen in Tamil films for a long time.
