3 producers' smart move

Even as 3 is set to hit the screens in less than 24 hours, those behind the Dhanush starrer have sought the help of a copyright protection firm to prevent the pirated online and DVD versions of the film.

3 will be protected by  Copyright Labs, an online anti piracy firm catering to the Tamil and Telugu film industries. It has doled out a product called JD (Justice Delivered ), which will safeguard 3 from piracy activities.

A press statement said on Wednesday: 'This product is exclusively available only with Copyright Labs which is a correct mix of technical excellence & legal proceedings. JD protects a film from piracy for 30 days from theatrical release.'

The maiden directorial venture of Aishwarya R Dhanush, the elder daughter of Superstar Rajinikanth, 3 has Kamal Haasan's elder daughter Shruthi Haasan as the heroine. Music is by Anirudh.
