Premgi's music album

Looks like this is the season of actors trying their hands at music. Close on the heels of Dhanush's 'Why this kolaveri di...' and STR's 'Love Anthem', Premgi is coming out with a music album, titled 'Hip of Gangster'.

The Saroja and Mankatha actor is making the album for his good friend M G Gonzales. Once the recording is over, a video shoot will be conducted, and it will be directed by none other than Venkat Prabhu, Premgi's elder brother.

'It is a jolly feel-good album which will appeal to youngsters. Impressed after listening the songs, Venkat Prabhu came forward to direct it. I am happy with the way the album is taking shape,' Premgi says.

Interestingly, Premgi and Venkat Prabhu are sons of music composer Gangai Amaran, who is the younger brother of maestro Ilayaraja. So, need we say that music runs in the veins of these two young talents?
