Director Selvaraghavan says that he will not go back after the busy stars. After Mayakkam Enna, Selvaraghavan is directing a film titled Erandam Ulagam. Arya and Anushka are in the lead roles in this film. The shooting of this film took place in Goa for 15 days.
The shooting was supposed to take place for a month’s time but it was stalled due to FEFSI problems. Because of this the cast and crew returned to Chennai.
Director Selvaraghavan while speaking about this film said, "Arya and Anushka are donning dual roles in this film. Radhika and Y Gee Mahendran are also acting in this film. There is no problem in the shooting because Arya and Anushka are professional actors. Both of them do not interfere in any matters. 35% shooting of this film is over.
Except these two leading actors, I did not select any of the busy actors. Before commencing the shooting of this film Sivakarthikeyan was not busy but now he is busy and because of this, he is not acting in this film. All are new faces except the hero and heroine. I will never go at the back of busy actors."
